The customer had a sedan, four large boxes, and no interest in spending a Saturday with an Allen key. IKEA's own delivery didn't cover assembly.
The apartment had a shared staircase with a landing too tight for the longest box to turn flat.

Boxes collected from the IKEA pickup bay against the customer's order number, then carried up and staged in the bedroom rather than the hallway.
Bed frame, dresser and both nightstands assembled, dresser anchored to the wall, drawers aligned, and every box and foam sheet flattened and taken away.
