The difference

Three delivery standards. Only one finishes the job.

"Delivery included" on a receipt usually means curbside or threshold. Knowing which one you bought is the difference between a finished room and a boxed sectional in your entryway.

Most freight carriers

Curbside

The piece is left at the end of your driveway, still boxed. Everything after that is your problem.

Many big-box retailers

Threshold

Inside the front door or the garage, still boxed. No stairs, no placement, no packaging removal.

Diamond Hands

White glove

Room of choice, unwrapped, assembled, positioned where you want it, and all packaging hauled away.

On the day

What our crew does inside your home.

  • Floor runners and doorframe guards laid before anything comes in
  • Piece wrapped in moving blankets and shrink for the carry
  • Two-person carry — nothing is slid, dragged, or walked on its legs
  • Placed and levelled in the exact spot you point to
  • Assembly at $100/hr, first 15 minutes free with delivery
  • Boxes, foam, plastic and strapping removed when we leave
  • Damage protection up to $1M

Built for high-value pieces

Marble and travertine tops, glass cabinets, upholstered sectionals, antique casegoods, artwork, and designer showroom orders. Coastal homes with narrow stairwells — La Jolla, Del Mar, Bird Rock, Point Loma — are routine for us.

FAQ

White-glove delivery in San Diego — questions we get.

What does white-glove furniture delivery actually include?

Room-of-choice placement, protective wrapping on the piece, floor and doorframe protection on the route in, unpacking, assembly where it applies, and removal of all boxes and packaging when we leave. Curbside and threshold delivery stop far short of that.

Do you charge more for white-glove service?

No separate white-glove surcharge. Delivery is the same flat rate by weight tier — from $120 for a first item under 100 lbs — plus $2 per mile. Assembly, if the piece needs it, is $100/hour with the first 15 minutes free on a delivery.

Can you deliver from a designer, showroom or warehouse?

Yes. We regularly collect from San Diego showrooms, design-trade warehouses, and receiving facilities. Give us the will-call reference and pickup window and we'll handle the paperwork at the dock.

How do you protect hardwood floors and stairs?

Runners on the floor route, corner guards on doorframes and banisters, and blankets under anything that gets set down. On stairs we work with two movers minimum and never slide a piece on its feet.

Will you take away the packaging and the old furniture?

Packaging goes with us at no extra charge. Removing the piece you're replacing is a separate disposal item on the same order, priced by its weight tier — much cheaper than booking a second trip.

What if my piece is marble, glass, or antique?

Tell us at booking. Fragile tops travel vertically in a padded frame, glass gets cardboard-cased, and antiques get a wrap-and-carry approach instead of dollies. Everything is covered by damage protection up to $1M.
