For designers & design firms

Delivery and installation for San Diego interior designers.
Receive, deliver, install.

Pieces arrive from a dozen vendors on a dozen schedules. We collect them, bring them to the project, place them exactly on your plan and take the packaging with us — so your install day is a reveal, not a logistics scramble.

Why interior designers call us

The part of the job nobody wants to own.

Ten vendors, ten delivery windows

Warehouse pickups, store pickups and curbside freight drops rarely line up with your install date.

Curbside freight is not an install

A pallet on the driveway means you are the one finding two people and a dolly the morning of the reveal.

Clients see the boxes, not the room

Cardboard, foam and hardware bags left behind undo an otherwise perfect install.

What we handle

Interior Designer Delivery — end to end.

Multi-vendor consolidation

One run can collect from several stores, warehouses or a receiving facility before heading to the project.

Placement to your plan

Send the floor plan or a marked photo and pieces land where you drew them, down to the rug orientation.

Assembly and light install

Beds, tables, shelving and sectional connections built on site.

Packaging removed

Cardboard, foam and hardware waste leave with us so the room photographs clean.

Client-ready crew

W-2 employees in company shirts who know they're working in front of your client.

Old-piece removal

The furniture being replaced leaves on the same trip, donated where possible.

FAQ

Interior Designer Delivery in San Diego — questions we get.

How is a commercial job priced?

The same way every job is priced: flat by the weight of the piece, plus $2/mile from mile one on the real road route. Delivery in San Diego is a flat rate by item weight and starts at $120: 0–100 lbs is $120, 100–200 lbs is $240, 200–300 lbs is $340, and anything over 300 lbs is $2/lb. Mileage is $2/mile from mile one. You see the exact total in the booking form before you confirm.

Do you set up recurring accounts for design firms?

Yes — that's the work we want. Call 619-738-4540 and ask for Oscar with your typical volume, piece types and the windows you need. We'll confirm the scheduling and billing setup that fits before the first run, so you're not re-quoting every job.

Can you pick up from several vendors in one trip?

Yes, and it's usually cheaper than separate bookings. The first piece is priced by its weight band and additional pieces on the same run are discounted — Extra pieces on the same trip are discounted: below 50 lbs at $25 each, 50–200 lbs at $100 each, 200–300 lbs at $200 each.

Will the crew place pieces to my floor plan?

Yes. Send the plan or a marked-up photo with the booking and the crew works from it on site. If something doesn't fit the way the plan assumes, we call you from the room before improvising.

Do you remove packaging and debris?

Yes — cardboard, foam, plastic and hardware waste leave with us as part of the job, so the room is photo-ready when we go.

Can the crew assemble on site?

Assembly in San Diego is $100/hour, billed in 15-minute increments. The first 15 minutes are free when it's on the same visit as a delivery; standalone assembly has a 1-hour minimum.

Who actually shows up?

Diamond Hands employees — W-2 crew in company shirts, on our own insured trucks. We do not subcontract your delivery to a gig app driver, so the same faces show up on a recurring account.

How does mileage work across the county?

Mileage in San Diego is $2/mile from mile one, measured on the actual road route between pickup and drop-off and shown in your quote before you book.

Clients asking what install day looks like? Send them our room-of-choice furniture delivery page — it spells out placement, protection, assembly and packaging cleanup from the homeowner's side.
