Trust FAQ

How do I verify your CPUC license?

Visit cpuc.ca.gov and search for permit number Cal-T-0192847. You should see "Diamond Hands Moving, LLC" with active status.

What's covered if you damage something?

Released-value protection (the federal standard, $0.60/lb) is included on every move. Cargo insurance picks up larger claims, and our $1M general liability policy covers damage to your home itself (walls, floors, fixtures). Full-value protection upgrades are available at booking.

Are crew members W-2 employees?

Yes. Every Diamond Hands crew member is a W-2 employee covered by California workers' compensation. We do not use day-laborers or 1099 contractors on jobs.

Why does the surety bond matter?

California requires household-goods movers to carry a $50K surety bond. It's a financial guarantee that the company operates lawfully — and a recourse path for customers if something goes seriously wrong.
