Sectionals are considered ONE item, even if they come in multiple pieces. They typically fall in the 100–200 lb range.
Extra pieces on the same trip: $50 less than 200 lbs, $150 200–300 lbs. Add the $100 landfill fee per 300 lbs for damaged or non-donatable items.

Couch removal is priced by the weight of the piece, not by the hour. A first item under 100 lbs is $150, 100–200 lbs is $150, and 200–300 lbs is $240. Most standard three-seat couches land in the middle band. Truck, labor and disposal fees are included in that number.
Do you remove sectional couches, and does each piece cost extra?
No — a sectional counts as one item even when it separates into two or three pieces. Sectional couch removal in San Diego usually falls in the 100–200 lb band at $150. Additional separate furniture on the same trip is $50 or $150 depending on size.
What happens to my old couch after you take it?
Donation first. If the couch is clean and structurally sound we try to donate it — whether it's accepted is up to the charity. If it's torn, stained, water-damaged, or infested, it goes to a recycling or transfer facility instead, and the landfill fee applies per 300 lbs.
Can you get a couch out of a second-floor apartment or a tight stairwell?
Yes, and there is no stair fee. Our crews take couches down apartment stairwells, out of alley-access units, and through narrow Craftsman doorways every week. If the piece needs legs or a back removed to clear the door, we do that on site.
Do you do same-day couch disposal?
Usually, yes. Text a photo of the couch and your address to 619-738-4540 and we'll confirm a flat price and the soonest 2-hour window — same-day slots are common seven days a week.
