$100 landfill fee per 300 lbs for damaged or non-donatable mattresses.
Extra pieces on the same trip: $50 less than 200 lbs, $150 200–300 lbs. Box springs and bed frames count as extra pieces.

Why not just leave it on the curb?
The City of San Diego does not currently provide bulky-item or curbside pickup, so a mattress left at the curb is illegal dumping. We carry it out from inside and handle the pickup and disposal in one trip.

Mattress pickup questions
Is this the same as the free City mattress drop-off?
No. The City's Miramar Mattress Collection Site accepts eligible mattresses and box springs free, but you have to bring them yourself, and the City does not currently offer curbside pickup. This page is our paid service: a crew comes to you, carries the mattress out, and hauls it away.
Will you carry a mattress down from upstairs or out of the bedroom?
Yes. We pick up from the room it's in, including upstairs units and walk-ups. Tell us about stairs or tight access when you book so we send the right crew.
Can you take the box spring too?
Yes. A box spring or bed frame on the same trip is priced as a discounted extra piece.
What if my mattress is stained or damaged?
Send a photo when you book. Clean, reusable mattresses go to donation where possible and the rest are routed to recycling. A landfill fee per 300 lbs applies only when an item can't be donated or recycled.
