How much does IKEA furniture delivery cost with Diamond Hands?
Flat rate by the item's weight tier plus $2 per mile. Pieces under 100 lbs start at $120. A sofa, dresser or dining table in the 100–200 lb tier is $240. Add a second piece from the same pickup from $25. You see the exact total before you book.
How fast can you pick it up?
Same-day windows are usually available when the store releases the order for pickup. Book a 2-hour window and we coordinate directly with the store's pickup counter.
Do you carry it inside, or just drop it at the door?
Inside, into the room you choose — up stairs and around corners included. That's the core difference from most store delivery, which is often threshold or first-dry-area only.
Can you assemble IKEA furniture after delivery?
Yes — it's one of our most common add-ons. first 15 minutes of assembly free with delivery, then $100/hour. Most bed frames and dressers fall inside the free window; a full PAX system takes longer and is billed hourly.
How does this compare to IKEA's own delivery?
IKEA's delivery works well for big orders, but dates can be days out and the service is typically to the threshold, with assembly sold separately. We offer same-day windows, in-room placement, and assembly in one visit — usually for less than delivery + an assembler booked separately.
