How much does Design Within Reach furniture delivery cost with Diamond Hands?
Flat rate by the item's weight tier plus $2 per mile. Pieces under 100 lbs start at $120. A sofa, dresser or dining table in the 100–200 lb tier is $240. Add a second piece from the same pickup from $25. You see the exact total before you book.
How fast can you pick it up?
Same-day windows are usually available when the store releases the order for pickup. Book a 2-hour window and we coordinate directly with the store's pickup counter.
Do you carry it inside, or just drop it at the door?
Inside, into the room you choose — up stairs and around corners included. That's the core difference from most store delivery, which is often threshold or first-dry-area only.
The piece is expensive. What happens if something goes wrong?
We photograph condition at pickup and again at placement, and every booking carries our standard coverage — the specifics are on our trust page. If a piece can't be moved safely, we tell you before we attempt it, not after.
Will it fit through my door?
We ask for doorway, stairwell and elevator dimensions before the job and compare them to the piece's boxed measurements. If it's tight, we plan the route — or tell you honestly that it won't go.
